OK, I solved the problem. I haven't got a damned clue why, but apparently, I also need to press the windows key in order for the CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+E/T shortcuts to work.

The e-mail on that section is case sensitive, I had the same problem the other day. Try putting the first letter of your e-mail in caps.
